Job Title: Mobile Phone Repair Instructor
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
- Teach students and learners how to Performed troubleshoot on cell phone models and processed phones for repair or replacement
- Train and instruct students, learners and end-users in mobile phone repair.
- Design and develop mobile phone repair instructional material useful for end-users and learners.
- Teach Student how to repair broken screens on various cell phone devices.
- Teach Student how to disassemble devices to examine parts, for wear or defects, using hand or power tools.
- Teach student how to diagnose and replace necessary external and internal parts of various cell phone devices.
- Perform repairs using equipment such as solder irons, heat guns, and screw driver sets for cell phones
- Identified the nature of the problem using diagnostic procedures, software and equipment.
- Teach student how to attend to damaged or faulty phones, diagnose faults and complete the repair.
- Teach student the use of digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, AC/DC power supplies, RF generators, spectrum analyzers
Requirements
- Must have worked in the mobile repair department in a reputable vocational school.
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, disassemble, repair, and perform quality checks on non-functional units.
- Must be honest, God fearing and diligent at work
- Experience of teaching effectively and providing a stimulating environment for learning and teaching to motivate, inspire and challenge Students.
- Ability to design, deliver, assess and revise teaching programmes.
- Provide technical support by trouble-shooting and repairing cell phones and all other devices
- Proficient in cell phone software programs, Knowledge in operating different types of cell phones
- Knowledge of operating and repairing different models of mobile phones
- Familiar with telecommunication systems such as GSM, CDMA, WDMA, etc.
- In-depth knowledge of different models of cell phones both old and new.
Qualifications
- Candidates must possess a B.Sc or HND in Electronics or equivalent from a recognized academic institution.
- Technical College Education with Trade Test and certificate from National Business &Technical Examination Board (NABTEB).
Experience:
- 2 - 5 Years of post-qualification experience in teaching, research and academic administration with a credible portfolio
- The candidate must reside in Lagos.
Skills:
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have knowledge of a wide range of computer technologies.
- Must have strong organizational and time management skills.
- Must have good social networking skills.
- Must have strong public speaking skills.
- Must be detail oriented and mechanically inclined.
