Adexen Recruitment Agency is mandated by a fast growing FMCG marketing company to recruit a Retail Sales Manager for her operations.

Our client is a fast growing FMCG with a view of marketing and distributing top fashion brands.

Responsibilities
  • The company major in trade marketing and distribution of top fashion brands in Nigeria
  • He/she is to report to the Managing Director.
  • The role involves managing all outlets/stores nationwide, ensure profitability and ensure that customers and business expectations are met and exceeded within the business strategy.
  • Develop sales strategy that supports the goals of the company.
  • Strategy may be global or local in accordance with customer behavior
  • Guide the team to ensure sales targets are met
  • Manage and close corporate sales
  • Develop and drive periodic promotions (Sales, discounts, special offers and schemes) in order to increase sales in all stores/outlets nationwide
  • Manage stock levels, prepare stock reports and make key decisions about stock control
  • Ensure proper recording of sales figures in all the stores/outlets nationwide
  • Ensure proper service delivery in all the stores/outlets nationwide
  • Manage payment of salaries and overheads " Act as the first point of reference for coordinating all staffing requirements, handle all employee relations issues, train and develop staff in all the stores/outlets
  • Conduct performance reviews and make recommendation for improvement Manage scheduled reporting systems from all shops/outlets
  • Focal point for all information dissemination
  • Ensure awareness of market trends in the retail industry
  • Ensure compliance to all company s policies and procedures
  • Effectively analyze and interpret trends to facilitate planning
  • Make recommendations on new store/outlet opportunities to management
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual budgets for store activities from operational expenses to improvements, promos, marketing etc
Requirements
  • BSc in a related field
  • 5-10 years work experience in sales. Experience in similar background will be an advantage
  • Ability to develop specific sales strategy location wise
  • Ability to increase sales in all the stores/outlets and business profitability
  • Result oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivating
  • Tenacious and resilient, driven to achieve even when faced with obstacles
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills capable of building strong working relationships and influencing and customers and internal teams
  • Strong commercial understanding of business issues/opportunities
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing strategy and planning issues
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to develop strategies, tactics and measurable implementation
  • Ability to think outside the box
