Job Title: Risk Manager
Location: Lagos
Summary of Job Description
- Develop and implement Enterprise Risk Management policies, procedures and policy framework
- Provide Management and Board with regular assessment and opinion on effectiveness of Bank’s risk management control systems
- Put in place a system to ensure Bank’s operational risks are identified, analysed and properly assessed
- Ensure compliance with all regulators’ requirements and other applicable laws
- Conduct policy audit, ensure compliance to standards, including liaison with Internal & External Auditors.
Person Specification
- Ability to create and sustain a risk environment
- Enterprise risk management competencies
- Must be technology savvy
- Good knowledge of digital and e-business and inherent risks
- Preference for risk prevention over detection focused system
- Strong leadership skill
- Team Management skill
- Good understanding of industry products and corresponding risks
- Should be proactive.
General/Specific Requirements:
- Emphasis is placed on competencies and achievements. Relevant certification and degree is an added advantage.
