We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Project Accountant - CM4FP Project

Requisition ID: CM4FP-106
Location: Abuja
Duration of Contract: Full time, One-year fixed term contract.

Job Profile
  • Support the Project Director in all the financial budget, planning and financial statements.
Job-Role
The successful candidate will perform the following functions:
  • Prepare bank reconciliation of all the Projects banks.
  • Prepare payment and Journal vouchers.
  • Review field postings for accuracy and stepping down funds to the field for field activities.
  • Prepare donor financial reports.
  • Prepare burn rate and manage accounting reporting analysis.
  • Maintain, organise and file documents for the projects.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all retirements and third-party payments.
  • Collection and accurate management of approved transactions into the finance software (SAP).
  • Ensure integrity of all financial entries in the system.
Qualifications/Experience
  • Must possess a first degree in Accounting or any related field of study.
  • Must have four (4) years post NYSC experience in a related or similar position.
  • Must be a registered member of the professional body (ACA or ACCA and/or ICAN)
Skills and Competency Required:
  • Ability to analyse financial matters, resolve issues promptly and accurately.
  • Ability to monitor and control expenses within allotted budget.
  • Good communication and proper documentation skills.
  • Must have a continuous drive for learning and knowledge sharing.
  • Must have demonstrated proficiency using intermediate level software including Microsoft word, Excel, spreadsheets and database.
