Job Profile
  • The successful candidate will collect information from respondents. The Data Collector will be required to demonstrate a high degree of flexibility and commitment to achieving the aims of the project.
  • Total Number of Persons needed for the role: Six (6) Persons 
Job-role
The successful candidate will perform the following functions:
  • Data Collection and update with focus on suitability of data to meet research objectives.
  • Sharing appropriate information as directed with Project Director and team members.
  • Strictly adhere to punctuality on the stipulated duration for data collection.
  • Supporting staff and other stakeholders in the use of research tools and contribute to training as required.
  • To adhere to confidentiality procedures and policies when collecting, storing and sharing data.
Qualifications/Experience
  • Must possess a minimum of O’ Level and National Diploma certificates and any other degree or certificate is an added advantage.
  • Experience and administration of the usage of correct data collection tools in each site.
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel applications.
Skills and Competency required:
  • Ability to locate the households/ facilities detailed in the research sample.
  • Ability to select the respondents to interview based on specific selection criteria.
  • Must possess the experience to use electronic data collection using tabs and checking completed interviews to be sure that all questions were asked and the respondent are recorded.
  • Must possess knowledge about informed consent processes.
  • Must possess good writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to work effectively with others, as well as promote collaboration across multiple locations.
  • Ability to monitor and follow up households /facilities to interview.
