They handle aspects of Mechanical, Electrical and Piping (plumbing) engineering planning, design and supervisory services for residential, commercial and industrial buildings on major construction projects.

Job description
- The Senior project engineer is responsible for Drawing of scope of works and drawing list.
- Preparation of preliminary design and budget estimate, Preparation of detail design for the various Engineering systems, checking of drafted drawing and Amendments, Taking off of bills of quantities of designed systems.
- Preparation of technical specification and support of installations.
- Can direct the work of a group of Project Engineers, CAD Drafters and resident site Engineer " Works by direction and without Direct supervision " Develops project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with management
- Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates " Ensure the proper execution as per the approved shop drawings
- Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements
- Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems
- Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, and plan and schedule changes; recommending actions.
- Controls project costs by approving expenditures; administering contractor contracts
- Prepares project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations
