KIA Motors Nigeria is recruiting to fill the following position:

Job Title: General Manager – After Sales (Automobiles)

Responsibilities
  • To co-ordinate all activities in workshop to ensure the required standard of service is achieved and maintained
  • To grow services in order to meet client’s expectations, whilst maintaining strict budgetary control in line with Client requirements
  • To ensure that all statutory and Company regulations and policies relating to training for all the staff to maximize their full potential, hygiene environment, health, safety and fire are enforced and maintained
  • To ensure that the on-site security systems in respect of all functions managed are effective and maintained
  • To liaise with all staff to ensure effective and meaningful communication
  • To take responsibility for the delegation of recruiting, supporting, and managing staff, formally and informally, with appropriate record keeping, according to the needs of the unit and within the procedure laid down by the Company.
  • To run workshop operations and Management of Spare parts as per company policies/practices
  • To ensure achievement of service loads as per targets
  • To ensure customer satisfaction and mapping CSI through modem tools/methods
  • To ensure retention and development of second lines.
  • Prepare KPI reports, Productivity analysis, Product performance reports
  • To liaise with manufacturer for product performance, warranty
  • Reports as required by principle manufacturer
Requirements
  • B.Tech/HND in Automobile Engineering
  • Minimum 15 to 20 years experience with at least 6 to 8 years as Service Head in Automobile Industry and comfortable in working with multi tasking atmosphere.
  • Extensive direct experience in after sales (workshop management) and having knowledge of SOP in the field of after sales to ensure SOP is being followed as per norms in workshop which ensures CSI scoring and customer satisfaction.
  • Self-driven individual who sets challenging goals with good forecasting and analytical skills which leads to success of the organisation.
  • Self confident, Can-do Attitude and Target oriented working style.
  • Service Minded and love to meet people focusing business growth.
  • Proactive with an ability to think “Outside the Box
  • Excellent Leadership qualities with communication (both written and spoken), presentation and organizational skills
  • Highly motivated with inter-departmental activities of the workshop as well as Sales to monitor business growth of the Organisation with customer satisfaction
