We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Auto-Mechanic
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
- Keep equipment available for use by inspecting and testing vehicles; completing preventive maintenance such as, engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotation and changes, wheel balancing, replacing filters.
- Maintain vehicle functional condition by listening to operator complaints; conducting inspections; repairing engine failures; repairing mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components; repairing body damage.
- Verify vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems.
- Comply with state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards.
- Maintain vehicle records by recording service and repairs.
- Keep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
- Contain costs by using warranty; evaluating service and parts options.
- Keep supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
- Accomplish maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
- Inspecting auto mechanic workshops in Lagos to know the standard of the workshop.
Qualifications
- B.Sc/HND in a relevant field of study
- Excellent computing skill (Ms. Excel) for the Work Management system.
- Min Required Experience: 5 years experience.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in the repair / maintenance of automotive
- Extensive experience in the Automobile industry and administrative procedures.
- Must have basic knowledge of workshop safety practices.
- Demonstrate oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate Problem Solving skills
- Show ability in dealing with complexity and analyzing Information
