Job Title: SEO Content Writer - Intern
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Job Description
- We are looking to recruit SEO Content Interns. This is a 3 months paid learning experience, you will have the opportunity to learn and execute a variety of SEO related tasks and develop a solid understanding of inbound marketing, content optimization, Keyword Research, and off-site promotion.
Responsibilities
- Learn all the basic SEO strategies (keyword research, link acquisition, 301 redirects, social media best practices and full on-site optimization).
- Identify and resolve 404 crawl errors and fix dead links.
- Develop a basic understanding of Google Analytics, Google Webmaster Tools, Moz & HubSpots suite of tools.
- Stay up-to-date with new changes and opportunities in the world of SEO and inbound marketing.
- Assist the SEO Strategist to keep all internal websites up-to-date with fully optimized content, SEO audits, monthly retainers and ongoing reporting.
- Assist in the development of new SEO products and marketing strategies.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- A Bachelor's Degree or a current student in their final year in pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Marketing, Mass Communications, Linguistics, Journalism and PR
- Background in internet marketing, SEO, SEM or searching for advertising
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Good Writing and Editing Skills
- Excellent with excel
- Basic competency with HTML and CSS
- Some familiarity with Joomla! and WordPress
- Positive attitude and a team player
- Knowledge on CRM (Zoho), PPC Campaigns, Google Adwords, Facebook Ad Manager (added bonus)
- Availability to start immediately.
