Job Purpose
- Identify opportunities in raw materials, technologies and processing aimed to reduce cost, support better world, optimize capacity and improve quality and roll out within the Western Africa Bussiness Unit
- Develop and scale up new liquids to support volume and value growth in Western Africa Bussiness Unit
Duties and Responsibilities
Amongst other duties, the Product and Technology Development Specialist will;
- Provide technical expertise and project management for technical initiatives in product and process categories
- Identify new ingredients and process Value Engineering opportunities (Value Adding day, scouting process, fairs, champions program, benchmark)
- Lead TIF(Technical Innovation Factory) Projects. Align on critical tasks and report project status/risk, including mitigation plans:
- Create & execute project timelines
- Manage resources
- Manage changes and scope review
- Effectively applies Project Management Methodology implementation & adherence
- Projects range in complexity from singles to multiple sites within West Africa Business Unit
- Identify breakthrough cost opportunities for long term and submit it to Tech Shop/TIF
- Participate in regional CIF (Commercial Innovation Factory) projects, developing new liquids as per technical brief from commercial team and scale up to commercial production

Qualifications and Experience
The occupant of this position should possess:
- Tertiary Qualification in Brewing, Engineering
- 3+ years brewery operations experience of a large or complex manufacturing facility
- Project Management qualification & experience would be an advantage
- A checked out Brewing or Engineering Trainee with good supply process knowledge
