Our Client - A leading and established Information Communications and Technology Services company is desirous of recruiting persons to fill the position below:

Job Position: Research Fellow

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop with the Director of Research annual business plan for the unit.
  • To assist the Director of Research with the development of research proposals and budgets.
  • Liaise with the Senior Research Associate, Research Associates, and Junior Analysts to provide guidance and supervision in designing, conducting and analysing projects and strategies.
  • Coordinate and monitor field research.
  • Monitor developments in sectors and area of research and development that may enhance future business prospects for the Company.
  • Ensure knowledge sharing and intellectual building amongst colleagues in the Consultancy Unit.
  • Liaise with local and international researchers in building and maintaining research networks.
  • Liaise with off- site collaborators i.e. contracted field workers.
  • Participate in in establishing team objectives and promote continuous improved performance of the team.
  • Participate in special projects to continuously improve processes research instruments and existing systems.
  • To participate periodically in industry specific seminars and conferences.
  • Liaise with functional leads to maximize internal research, standards development, report writing and presentation of reports to clients.
Qualifications and Skills
  • The Research Fellow must be able to work independently and produce high quality output.
  • Significant training, expertise and practical experience in progressive research roles.
  • Experience in conducting and coordinating research projects of strategic and developmental backgrounds.
  • Exceptional understanding of the importance data quality and accuracy in research projects.
  • Must have in-depth understanding of and the ability to apply established principles, theories and concepts to projects of responsibility.
  • Exceptional knowledge and usage of statistical softwares (i.e. SPSS, STATA)
  • Comprehensive understanding of advanced research methodologies.
  • Must be able to provide comprehensive technical advice, guidance, and support to colleagues in area of specialty
  • Must be solution orientated with the ability to solve problems, simplify complex issues and bring clarity to challenging information/data.
  • Must possess advanced understanding and execution of project management.
  • 12 years experience.
