Responsibilities
- Reporting directly to the Senior Infrastructural Design Engineer, the structural design draftsman is technically responsible for structural drawings, their accuracy and on-time delivery. The position requires thorough knowledge of AutoCAD and structural CAD based software.
- The main mission of the position is to perform structural layout, details and shop drawings.
- Structural layouts and details drawings.
- Drafting of steel workshop-, formwork- and reinforcement drawings for buildings and civil structures.
Requirements
- Must hold a HND or OND in structural related works or in a related discipline
- Having a previous experience in structural layout drawings is also an advantage
- Should have 5 O’ level credit including english and mathematics
- Has a knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD and other common software in structural design
- Must be authorised to work in Nigeria and should have finished NYAC.
- Is a self-starter and can work independently
- Demonstrates excellent professional interpersonal and communication skills
- Must be fluent in oral and written English
