Dobiyan Women and Youth Empowerment Initiative is a non governmental non- profit, non-political and non –Religious organisation founded in 1998, but Registered with CORPOARTE Affairs commission in November, 2010 certificate number CAC/IT/NO 41841. Dobiyan women and youth empowerment initiative is a non-governmental organisation that is concerened with assisting rural women, youth and children towards productive living in the community.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: VSLA Supervisor
Location: Mubi North, Mubi South and Maiha LGA in Adamawa State
Duration: 22 Months with possible extension
Starting period: February, 2019
Slot: 3 Openings
Scope of Work
- VSLA supervisors will make sure all aspects of Vilage Saving and Loans project are completed smoothly
- In order to make sure VSLA projects and services are done correctly.
- VSLA supervisor will supervise VSLA activities and Facilitators.
- Make sure beneficiaries have access to VSLA services
Responsibilities
- Community Sensitization, awareness raising and mobilization for project start-up at community level,
- Assessment for the identification and selections community-peculiar gender trades/skills
- Establishment and strengthening of vocation skill centres/trainers and consultants at locations requiring such services.
Qualifications
- Minimum of University Degree
