Job Title: Managing Director - Expatriate
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
Responsibilities
- The aim is to maintain and promote vigorous and sustainable growth based on delivering high quality products and services to customers
- Responsible for the P&L of the company
- Responsible for all aspects of the business including production, distribution, finance, strategic planning, internal organization, Human Resources management
- Identify business opportunities
- Manage the resources of the company at a day to day business
- Ensure that distributors and customers receive a standard of products & services which satisfies them and promote their loyalty to the Company
- Provide effective leadership and management of all staff, with clear objective-setting in a structure which defines line of accountability
- Promote and manage a framework which incorporates clear routes of progression
- Provide regular management information, reports and analysis
Desired Skills and Experience
- Master's degree from a recognised university
- 5-10 years experience in a similar management role
- 5-10 years experience in the Manufacturing & Distribution of consumer goods
- Business development and sales oriented
- Experience of managing P & L and Budgetary Process
- Communication/Presentation/Negotiation
- Experience managing multicultural workforce
- Previous experience in Nigeria/West Africa will be a plus
