Job Title: Trade Marketing Manager

Location

Job Aim
  • Responsibilities include the creation and execution of customer specific trade marketing programs with the objective of building the brands and driving sales.
Duties and Standards - Measurable in terms of time, cost, quality or quantity
  • Increasing the demand at Key Distributor, wholesaler, retailer level to compliment brand management at consumer level.
  • Category Management: working with each Brand Manager (planogram, promotion, merchandizing, communication) for key accounts or special projects.
  • Organise and conduct trainings for KDs/Retail outlets staff.
  • Development and execution of trade / consumer promotions including pricing, sales estimates, operations liaison and POS development.
  • Recommend and develop local market promotions to promote sales.
  • Provide feedback to management on new product launches or re-launch initiatives.
  • Identify non- performing channels/channel outlets, define and implement strategies to develop them.
  • Liaise with the marketing department (head office) to ensure adequate supply of communication materials for brand visibility.
  • Proactively communication and build relationships with the global Marketing teams.
Education and Experience
  • BSc in (any) Social Sciences
  • MBA (optional)
  • Over 10 years relevant work experience.
  • 3 years experience in sales strategy development and management.
  • Proficiency in MS Words, Excel and PowerPoint.
Work Conditions:
  • Frequent long hours
  • Frequent travel outside station.
