Job Title: Head of Sales, Power Distribution Solutions
Location: Lagos
Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure that the business unit meets goals that contribute to the overall success of the company
- Sales of power distribution solutions, analyzing market trends, training and mentoring of staff, creating and implementing strategies to reach targets and so on.
- Consistently deliver on revenue targets and so grow a business unit.
- Drive revenue, growth and market share.
- Meet or exceed defined revenue targets.
- Meet or exceed KPIs.
- Develop and execute against an agreed business unit strategy.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline.
- Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
- Ensure customer satisfaction.
- Expect moderate travel.
- The role is based in Lagos State but some travel will be necessary.
Requirements
- A degree in Electrical Engineering
- 8 years of proven relevant experience in the sales of Electrical solutions.
- Strong FEED skills.
- Certification of AutoCAD training from a recognized trade center/institution preferred.
- Excellent Knowledge of MS office.
- Strong listening, verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong business sense and problem-solving attitude.
- Excellent selling, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership skills motivating a team to achieve results.
- Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven record in sales.
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
- Disciplined hard worker.
- Track record of meeting and exceeding sales target.
- Track record of leading and growing a business unit.
- Age: Between 32-49 years old.
- B.sc/BA/HND degree in Electrical Engineering compulsory.
- Extensive customer network.
- Sales experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Experience building new territories from scratch – preferred but not compulsory
