Job Title: Deputy Manager, Operated Non-Equity Assets

Objectives
  • To coordinate accurate and timely analysis of all financial information/activities within the company in accordance with IFRS to determine liabilities, profit/loss and tax liability.
Key Job Responsibilities
  • Manage the full joint venture accounting function of the operated non-equity assets and accounting of exploration license in accordance to the shareholders and joint operating agreements
  • Review and coordinate cash calls, joint interest billing and venture reports of the exploration license and assist with Joint venture partner audits
  • Review and coordinate joint venture and business share budgets and forecasts of exploration joint ventures for annual budget cycle, strategic budget cycle, quarterly forecast cycle and rolling capital plan
Requirements
  • First Class or Second Class Upper (First Degree) in relevant Disciplines
  • Second Class Lower or HND Upper Credit (minimum) in relevant Disciplines, plus Master’s degree
  • Certification/Membership of relevant professional body e.g. ICAN, ANAN, ACCA etc
  • NYSC Completion/Exemption Certificate
  • Applicants must not be more than 45 years of age as at 31st December, 2018.
  • Applicants must have Minimum of 18 years post-qualification experience with at least 3 years working experience at Managerial/ Leadership level in an organization of comparative size .
  • Experience in oil and gas industry and in similar functional area is an added advantage
