Instrument Engineer

Objectives
  • To ensure effective monitoring, deployment and commissioning of plant instrumentation and control systems in all engineering works in the company.
Key Job Responsibilities
  • Carry out scheduled monitoring of instrumentation and control systems to maintain database of operating parameters for benchmarking and trouble-shoot problematic control systems to ensure safe operations
  • Evaluate proposals on new plant instruments, control systems technologies and advise on viability
  • Contribute to specification development, selection, testing and commissioning of rehab/new plant instruments and control systems equipment
Requirements
  • First Class or Second Class Upper (First Degree) in relevant Engineering disciplines
  • Second Class Lower or HND Upper Credit (minimum) in relevant Engineering Disciplines, plus Master’s degree
  • Certification/Membership of relevant professional body
  • NYSC Completion/Exemption Certificate
  • Applicants must not be more than 34 years of age as at 31st December, 2018.
  • Applicants must have Minimum of 6 years relevant post qualification experience .
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry will be an added advantage.

  • Knowledge of Machining and Fabrication Processes
