Job Title: Occupational Hygienist

Objectives
- To identify, assess health hazards in the workplace and develop control strategy.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Conduct Walk Through Surveys to identify and evaluate hazardous conditions and practices in equipment, systems, products, and facilities.
- Conduct Health Impact Assessment to examine the probability and severity of accidents and illnesses that may result from hazardous practices and harmful exposure
- Design methods to control hazards, such as engineering controls, administrative controls, and protective equipment and evaluate the progress of control systems after their implementation
Requirements
- First Class or Second Class Upper (First Degree) in relevant Biological Sciences disciplines
- Additional Qualification/Certification in Occupational Hygiene (eg. M.Sc Occ. Hygiene, PGD Occ. Hygiene)
- Certification/Membership of relevant professional body.
- NYSC Completion/Exemption Certificate
- Applicants must not be more than 34 years of age as at 31st December, 2018.
- Applicants must have Minimum of 6 years relevant post qualification experience .
- Experience in the oil and gas industry will be an added advantage.
