Job Title: Superintendent, Well Operations

Objectives
  • To effectively supervise operations of the wells for optimal hydrocarbon production and capacity utilisation in line with HSE standards
Key Job Responsibilities
  • Supervise Drilling and Completion Program, Cementing operations, Drill stem testing, Casing and Tubing installation and all other rig operations
  • Compile geological well site reports and logs and prepare final well documentation/report, based on drilling operations
  • Undertake field visits of well locations in order to monitor pressure testing, wireline, and mud logging operations.
Requirements
  • First Class or Second Class Upper (First Degree) in relevant Engineering disciplines
  • Second Class Lower or HND Upper Credit (minimum) in relevant engineering disciplines, plus Master’s degree
  • Certification/Membership of relevant professional body
  • NYSC Completion/Exemption Certificate
  • Applicants must not be more than 37 years of age as at 31st December, 2018.
  • Applicants must have Minimum of 9 years relevant post qualification experience .
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry will be an added advantage.

  • Hydrocarbon Systems Risk Assessment
