Job Title: Head, Business Development

Job Description

An experienced and qualified person to manage our Business Development Unit. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver on the following Assignments:
  • Consolidate on the efforts and achievements of the Stakeholder Management effort to retain and expand existing relationships
  • Build an investor focused marketing department that will attract new, value adding investors to the project
  • Segment the projects offerings and match opportunities with the available pool of investors.
  • Develop proactive plans and project proposals that are geared towards closing the “needs” gaps of investors and project offerings Increase the organizations productivity by aggressively implementing business strategies focused on growth Invigorate the business brand and create positive images of the project to existing and potential investors
  • Develop and drive the organizations marketing plan and actively contribute to its successful implementation
  • Manage the organization's website development and the dissemination of information to the public
  • Mentor, train and manage career development of reporting lines in the Marketing Department
Job Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement business development initiatives that meet the organization's strategic objectives
  • Identify clear initiatives for the marketing and advertising needs of the organization
  • Identify, evaluate and develop practical local and foreign sales channels in line with the company objectives
  • Implement regular market intelligence and research activities and communicate results to management for proactive decision making
  • Source for and process information beneficial to marketing development activities of the project
  • Effectively communicate and seek collaborative opportunities with current and potential investors for business growth
  • Collaborate with professionals and relevant government and nongovernmental agencies on contemporary marketing strategies for improved business development/relationship
  • Provide regular market intelligence reports
  • Initiate and implement business promotions, strategies and campaigns to drive revenue on a continuous and sustainable basis.
Requirements
  • To be considered for this position, the applicant must have a minimum of a Master's Degree in Business or any of the Social Sciences.
  • The successful candidate must have had a verifiable, broad hands on experience in business development/marketing in a high net worth and tell organized environment.
  • Proven experience in negotiation, mediation and crisis resolution and working in and with high net worth project situation will be an advantage.
  • Demonstrated and diverse competencies in communication (verbal and written), strategic planning and general management are required.
