The Nigeria French Language Village is Nigeria's Inter-university Centre for French studies, established by the Federal Government of Nigeria to cater primarily for undergraduate students of French in tertiary Institutions. It is an autonomous institution operating under the ambit of the National Universities Commission (NUC).

Job Position: Deputy Director of Audit (Contiss 14)


The Role
 The Deputy Director of Audit Is the administrative head of Audit Unit. He is directly responsible to the Director General for Internal Audit and other allied duties on daily basis.

Academic and Professional Qualification
A Bachelor of Science Degree or HND with honours in accounting from a recognized institution.
Advanced degree In Accounting f Management / Finance / Economics/Statistics is an added advantage.
Full membership of professionally recognised Accounting body is indispensable.
Candidates must be between 45 50 years old.
 
Experience
A minimum of 12 years post qualification experience preferably in an educational environment, similar to that of a university Is required.

Basic Competence Required for the Position
It is for be noted  of the position above the ideal candidate must be someone with the following relevant skills and competences:
  • Good team player  able to effectively coordinate too activities of a depal1rnent
  • Excellent communication skins,
  • Good interpersonal relations skills,
  • Ability to work with limited supervision,
  • Ability to coordinate diverse but relevant activities and projects,
  • Ability to work under pressure,
  • Good presentation and advocacy skills,
  • Good internet skills,
  • Good knowledge of ICT software e.g. Microsoft office package,
  • Proven professional competence and enviable administrative pedigree.
  • The candidate must be diligent, forthright but diplomatic,
  • Ability to Initiate proactive policies geared at propelling the French Village forward.
