Job Title: Mechanic
Location: Abuja
Responsibilities
- Repairs and maintains ICRC vehicles and generators according to workload planning and instructions within Nigeria
- Performs regular report to his supervisor
- Masters the concept of preventive maintenance
- Performs the preventive maintenance and repairs according to set down rules and ICRC procedure
- Assists to clean the vehicle inside and outside after the service
- Performs the service and maintenance for the generators and vehicles
- Prints and studies the electrical wiring diagram in order to perform breakdown diagnosis and repair
- Uses internet and database or car manufacturer web site to collect information to perform the job in a professional manner as per industry standards and ICRC guidelines
- Assists in the yearly spare parts inventory
- Assists in the cleaning of spare parts stock
- Keeps clean and tidy his personal toolbox at all time
- Performs monthly inventory of his toolbox and reports any missing tool
- Ensures proper working conditions at all time
Requirements
- High school level or professional/vocational School
- 2 years work experience as mechanic
- Basic knowledge of English
- Driving license
- Basic computer skills
