Job Description
- Sets up, configures and supports internal networks.
- Supports and maintains all systems, applications, security, and network configurations.
- Troubleshoots network performance issues and helps maintain the disaster recovery plan.
- Recommends upgrades, patches and new applications and equipment.
- Provides technical support and guidance to users and clients to include 1st point of contact via email and/or telephone.
- Installs new software releases, system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches and resolves software related problems.
- Performs system backups and recovery.
- Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity.
- Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within a business environment.
- Relies on methodical approaches, instructions and pre-established industry standard guidelines and best practices to perform the functions of the job.
