Job Title: Facility Officer

Location:
Lekki, Lagos

Supervision Received: Venue Manager

Tasks
  • Conduct regular facility inspections and document observations that require management attention
  • Develop and implement pre-emptive maintenance schedule for various equipment and assets to minimize disruptions of operations and events
  • Carry out minor repairs and maintenance of company premises, assets and equipment
  • Ensure that Party items, including chairs and tables, are always in good condition
  • Develop relationships with maintenance technicians and contractors that can be called at short notice to attend to maintenance and repair needs
  • Supervise maintenance and repair of premises, assets and equipment
  • Plan and implement appropriate maintenance schedule for generators and air-conditioners based on their usage to avoid disruption during events
  • Co-ordinate company activities to ensure environmental health and safety
  • Review maintenance contracts to ensure facility management needs are being met.
  • Act promptly on requests and complaints about short comings of facility performance
  • Develop alternative plan of action in case of unexpected failure or breakdown of facility equipment and assets
  • Work with Venue Manager to make plan for future replacement, repairs and upgrade of assets and equipment for management’s consideration
  • Prepare facility performance report after every major event
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management

Accountabilities:

  • Documented maintenance schedule of assets and equipment
  • Facility performance report after major event
  • Monthly activity report
Qualifications/Experience
  • The candidate for this position should have multi-disciplinary expertise with a minimum of Nation Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering
  • Two years mechanical and/electrical maintenance experience

Additional Information:
  • There is a preference for candidates who live in Ikoyi, Victoria Island, Lagos Island, Lekki, and Ajah.
  • Candidate must be MALE.
Remuneration
Gross Monthly Salary of N70,000.
