We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Enterprise Architecture Manager

Location:
Lagos

Job Responsibilities
  • Define the application and technical architecture structure, ensuring that it meets the business requirements and performance goals.
  • Define standards and guidelines for systems / solutions procurement or deployment.
  • Evaluate developments in IS architecture in the local and international business environment and recommend value-adding improvements to the IS strategy.
  • Lead the application and technical architecture analysis, design, and implementation, and ensure that the product fulfills the requirements.
  • Review and integrate all application requirements, including functional, security, integration, performance, quality, and operations requirements.
  • Review built products / solutions and ensure the components work together to meet the objectives and performance goals as defined in the requirements.
  • Engage with other functional units and actively participate in IS projects relating to systems upgrade, integration or deployment.
  • Manage technical progress of IS development projects to ensure compliance with or enhancement of existing architecture or design.
  • Monitor the development process and ensure the application is supported in production, including back-ups, disaster recovery, system performance, and project management.
  • Evaluate business process changes, identify and communicate to team members any cross-area or cross-release issues that affect other product development areas.
  • Identify training and development needs for product development team members and manage related skills enhancement programmes to ensure enterprise targets are fully met.
  • Review performance of individual team members and complete appraisals in accordance with the employee performance appraisal procedures and time schedules.
Supervisory Expectations:
  • Coach and mentor team members.
  • Manage Architecture team members to ensure conformance to standard working procedures.
  • Facilitate rollout of professional Development standards.
  • Provide input to company strategic plan on network and IT convergence.
  • Guide and influence peers within the IS department in the adoption of appropriate frameworks.
  • Manage the complexities of the interaction between the multitude of technologies and services.

Requirements
Education:
  • A first degree in Computer Science, Information Technology/Systems or a related discipline from a reputable institution.
  • A Master’s degree in a related field will be an added advantage.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 8 years work experience of which:
  • At least five years’ experience in information systems architecture.
  • At least three years enterprise related to enterprise service bus and portal implementation.
  • At least two years’ experience at management level.
