Responsibilities
  • The Lead Planner/Scheduler is responsible for the optimal utilization of Onne workshop resources.
  • In this role he/she will act as the "right hand" of the Contract Delivery Manager preparing contract schedules according to customer requirements and developing planning & scheduling tools, processes and reports to maximize critical path visibility to the execution team.
  • Work closely with the Customer planners, who deliver and maintain a high level Workshop Activity Plan
  • Interface with other various functions/Supervisors within the business to create workshop schedules on Sub-Activity levels
  • Relate with the Customer Project Services during yearly Customer Business Plan exercise to forecast Onne workshop and offshore resources requirements
  • Report on progress of execution and latest estimated finish dates for major work orders to Customer's Base Coordinator, Planners and Activity Owners
  • Provide support to the Contract Delivery Manager in the development of programs and processes that reduce total cycle time and span
  • Responsible for quality of delivery, schedule, and planning
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Technology, or Quantity Surveying
  • At least 8 years of project management experience in the Oil & Gas industry
  • Subsea experience is essential for this role
  • A strong technical and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills including ability to communicate effectively with management, project team members, Client, sub-contractors and all stakeholders
  • Proficiency with planning tools Primavera P6 (Super User) ,MS Project and database tools (MS Access, Excel)
  • Ability to interface with difficult customers, customizing planning activities according to specific needs and requirements
  • Experienced in integrated planning - resourcing to delivery
  • Ability to prioritize activities and respect deadlines
  • Six Sigma training is preferred (GE employees only)
  • Additional and proven Project Management experience
  • Sound business and financial acumen
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
