Job Title: Supply Chain Manager

Responsibilities
- Plan and source material purchases
- Constant communication with field personnel on status of orders
- Identify pricing discrepancies and review best purchasing alternatives with supervisor. Use advanced negotiation skills
- Plan and Manage shipping of materials
- Generate and distribute accurate purchase orders and provide proof of delivery to AP
- Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
- Establish standard operating procedures for purchasing, monitor the overall effectiveness of procedures and revise and improve as necessary
- Create and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Monitor and track timing of deliveries. Verify that product and quantities are correct
- Review contracts and ensure compliance between company and vendors
- Inventory Planning and Management
Requirements
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- 3+ years experience working in purchasing
- Must be familiar with sourcing and vendor management
- Skilled in negotiating and networking
- Sound decision making skills
- Ability to gather and analyze data to work with figures
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Administration is a plus
