Job Title: Research Technician
Location: Makurdi, Benue
Position Responsibilities
Research-will contribute to the field activities of the project titled “Genetic improvement of cowpea for Striga/Alectra resistance using molecular tools in Nigeria under direct supervision of the Project Leader. He/she will:
- Contribute to development and deployment for cowpea genetic improvement.
- Provide leadership and be responsible for coordination of all field activities.
Educational Qualifications
- The candidate should have an OND/HND in Crop Production, Plant Science or Pest Management.
Core Competencies:
- Statistical analysis and reporting
- Field crop establishment and data collection
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Information
- The job position is for a period of two years renewable subject to availability of funds.
