Job Description
- VAM Systems is currently looking for Liferay Developer for our UAE operations.
Skill Set Required
- In depth experience of Java Technology:
- Tools - Eclipse, TOAD, Liferay Studio
- Application testing - Junit
- System testing - Jmeter
- Programming - Java 7, JSP, Javascript, Jquery, XML, Spring 3.1
- Web/Application Server - Tomcat, Apache HTTPD
- Database - Orcale, MS SQL
- Liferay 6.2 & DXP - Portlet development, Liferay Themes.
- Web Services - RestFul and SOAP
- Hands-on experience of Web Technologies and Web Servers HTML, CSS and JavaScript and Web Servers refer to Tomcat, Jboss or the servers which are supported by Liferay.
- Expert in Liferay Portlet/forms Development
- Knowledge in Liferay Portal Administration
- 5. Customization of the Liferay readymade portlets:
- Theme Development:
- CSS: Create a new theme simply by modifying a CSS file.
- JavaScript: Add special behaviors to your theme.
- XML: Some theme settings are specified in XML.
- Working experience in OSGI framework.
- Working experience of Data layer implementation user for Analytics in Liferay.
- Knowledge of Liferay tools example below:
- Jenkins
- SonarQube
- Elastic search
- App dynamics
Basic understanding in:
- Application design, architecture, J2EE design Patterns
- Modeling: data, process, events, objects
- Information management
- Change control
- IT standards, procedures, policy
