A fast-growing Indigenous Marine Company located in Sapele, Delta State requires the services of a qualified candidate to fill the position below:
Job Title: Electro-Technical Officer (ETO)
Location: Sapele, Delta
Role & Responsibilities
It shall include but not limited to:
- Responsible for maintenance of all the electrical motors on ship i.e. in engine room and en deck and shall perform maintenance of all switchboards including main switchboard and emergency switchboard.
- Ensuring maintenance of fire detectors and fire alarm system, perform maintenance on all the ship's alarm system and ensure all the batteries that are connected to machineries onboard which - includes: Emergency batteries for alarm and lights, Lifeboat batteries, batteries for emergency generator and other batteries fitted onboard.
- Ensure the ship's navigational lights and other navigational equipment are within operation specification.
- Assist in watch keeping routines at desired time by the chief engineer and also assist ship's engineer and deck officer in resolving all kind of electrical problems.
Qualifications
- ETO Licence (STCW10/6)
- Minimum 6 years experience on a DP2 Multi-purpose IMR/ROV Subsea Support Vessel.
