Job Title: Contracting Strategy and Risk Advisor
Location: Lagos
Job Type: Full Time
Purpose Statement
- This will develop contracting strategy for different range of services; evaluate equipment, and services risks, supplier, location and resource risk.
- Conduction of market intelligence and providing useful data for budget development and management. Monitoring of contracts to ensure compliance with internal NAPIMS, PSA and and internal compliance protocol.
Key Deliverables:
- Develop master contracts and procurement plan
- Develop contracts and procurement risk matrix and management systems
- Develop contracts and procurement strategy for product, Services and oil/gas projects
- Contractor segmentation based on service, product r market risk
- Draft contract terms and technical specification
- Carry product and service market intelligence and project cost data across regions, projects and operators
- Carryout project risk analysis and identify cost management initiatives
Minimum Qualification/ Experience
- Law, Engineering, Physical and Social Science B.Sc. Second degree might be an advantage
- Minimum of 10 - 12 years experience
- Direct oil and gas experience or strong exposure to
- Contracting and procurement strategy formulation
- Project/financial risk management and formulation of cost/financial model
- Experience in local and international procurement of equipment and services
- Contracts, procurement and project management experience
- Product and service market intelligence and analysis
- Formulation Financial and business risk models/tools
Knowledge/Skills:
- Business strategy formulation
- Strong procurement and business management skill
