Job Title: Accountant
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Responsibilities
- Manage financial operations.
- Documents financial transactions inline with partnership accounting model
- Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
- Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
- Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
- Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
- Guides accounting clerical staff
- Reconciles financial discrepancies
- Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
- Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
- Prepares special financial reports
Requirements
- Proven working experience of about 3 years in Accounting or similar functions
- Proper understanding and hands-on experience in the use of automated accounting system
- Good management skills
- Attention to detail.
