Role Overview
  • The Business Development Executive (BDE) is responsible for driving new business opportunities through lead generation to close out. Working under the Business Development Manager, the BDE is responsible for generating new business opportunities and ultimately closing out the business.
  • The BDE will develop a comprehensive understanding of BH Stripes Ltd product offerings and value propositions and will be exemplary in effectively articulating them to new prospects.
  • This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual to become part of a growing company and see a clear career progression path into Leadership, based on proven performance..
Job Responsibilities
  • To meet all assigned targets– New Business Revenue, Customer Meetings, Sales SLA’s
  • Establish regular and effective communication with all Decision Makers of businesses won
  • Produce a monthly forecast to include successfully identifying new business to close
  • Maximize revenue by cross and up selling, whilst adhering to BH Stripes sales principle
  • Be pro-active in approach to customer acquisition
  • Follow up leads provided internally in order to win new business
  • Take personal responsibility to build and maintain industry and competitors knowledge
  • Acquire competitor(s) information on products, pricing, marketing performance, strengths and weaknesses
  • Ensure all internal systems are accurately up to date with account activity.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Must possess a Bachelor's degree or HND.
  • Must have completed the mandatory NYSC programme.
  • Experienced in working in a target driven environment
  • Ability to quickly adapt to campaign propositions and successfully deliver them to maintain personal performance
  • Responsiveness to training
  • Excellent organizational skills – demonstrate pro-active approach to meeting objectives
  • Professional and positive attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ambitious and determined to succeed
  • Ability to identify objections and obstacles during a campaign and relay back to management
