Job Descriptions
  • Identify, schedule and execute all underwater Inspection, Maintenance and Repair (IMR) activities in line with the Maintenance Reference Plans ensuring that all executions plans are integrated with other Asset and/or project activities.
  • Optimize and minimize exposure both with respect to HSE and costs.
  • Provide open-water planning and support for all rig-based and intervention vessel based operations (whether remedial or development).
  • Provide up-dates to the subsea system as-builds and documentation, consistent with procedures developed by the company/Client organization.
  • Act at all times in accordance with the Company/Client’s Policies on Health, Safety the Environment and Community Affairs.
  • Ensure that IMR scopes executed are cost effective and are of the right quality and continuously improving.
  • Ensure IMR Engineering activities are focused on pro-active Risk and Opportunity management
  • Develop and align procedures, and resources to facilitate well and subsea systems interventions. This is a critical position to coordinate the necessary resources and execute deepwater emergency intervention. Engineer will work closely with Company/Client’s Well Delivery, Offshore Operations and Technical Support, as well as the Company/Client’s Global Subsea Community to enable subsea intervention readiness.  Engineer will provide technical approvals and assurance as a subsea TA-2 for all required decisions in subsea hardware,  systems and intervention.
  • Ensure balance is maintained between constructive co-operation and commercial professionalism in relationships with contractors and vendors
  • Active change control, both on costs and time, while approving technical work scopes in SAP
  • Ensure compliance with global and where applicable regional standards
  • Be a role model for the Company/Client’s values and behaviours
  • Ensure maximum exploitation of opportunities offered by the regional model:
  • Stimulate innovative ideas and concepts
  • Benefit from economies of scales where ever available
  • Responsible for supporting all activities required for the day to day operation of the offshore/deepwater underwater assets including planning, inspection, maintenance, and repair. This will include ROV and diving operations
