We are recruiting to fill the below position:

Job Descriptions
  • Manage multiple engineers – Company’s PACO engineers and 3rd party contractors – in the PACO scope of work related to the design, fabrication, and installation and commissioning.
  • Provide technical support to aid Project interface with internal and external stakeholders – Asset team, Engineering Design Contractors, JV partners and Regulatory agencies and contributes to the resolution of technical interface issues between disciplines
  • Ensure that all the design decisions are in line with all relevant group standards and blueprint, project management, Design engineering manuals (DEM), PCAP, DCAF, ORS, and HSE
  • Deliver the full benefits and functionalities of PACO technologies aligned to exceeding the spirit of current operation and maintenance philosophy
  • People: Collaboration is a key requirement to succeed. As one of senior engineers, the ideal candidate must be able to collaborate effectively with engineering design contractor staff and colleagues. A sound enterprise-first mindset is a key requirement.
  • HSSE: Drive team HSE performance in line with Business Performance Targets. A zero incident mindset on Design Integrity and Technical Integrity is a firm requirement.
  • Compliance: Complies with prevailing regulatory and Dept requirements and suggests fit-for-purpose improvements. Pro-actively promote and exercise safety interventions.
  • Expertise: Maintain state-of-the art skills required to perform job including a thorough understanding of relevant rules/regulations/standards and emerging technologies
  • Assurance: Provide Technical assurance on design points and ensures compliance with PCAP specified control point sign-offs.
  • Cost: Assist Engineering Lead to develop a cost-competitive team budget. Contribute to the Project initiative to reduce waist by eliminating inefficiencies of working processes. Pro-actively contribute to exploit the potential of instrumentation and systems for to deliver a plant with top quartile operational availability and minimum maintenance cost level.
  • Network effectively to keep abreast of technological developments, contribute to recognize and actively introduce project execution best-practices and when asked to contribute to global, regional or local best practice formulation/use.
  • Knowledge on Integrated Project in its execution may be an added advantage.
Qualifications
  • A Technical/Engineering degree at Bachelor's Degree level, with 8+ years of experience in the upstream oil and gas production and processing industry (FEED, detail design, construction, installation, commissioning and start-up) with a proven track record of leadership and project delivery of PACO systems.
  • Proven track record of having successfully delivered, or been a key contributor to the delivery of at least one large onshore project.
  • Experience in a Design office.
  • Experience in being a contributor to a large project that delivered complete PACO systems
  • Strong personal skills in communication (written and oral), mentoring & coaching, negotiation, and decision making.
  • Strong background in Upstream control systems and instrument end devices (design, procurement, fabrication, installation, commissioning).
  • Member NSE/ COREN Registerable
