Katsina State College of Health Sciences and Technology invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:
Job Title: College Librarian
Location: Kastina
Duties
- The College Librarian is the Chief Librarian of the College. He is responsible to the Provost for ensuring the fulfillment of the objectives of the Libraries and for maintaining and promoting efficiency and good discipline in the Libraries.
Qualification and Experience
- Candidates must possess at least a B.Sc, BLS or B.A in Library Science from a recognized tertiary institution.
- Plus at least 10 years Teaching and Administration experience in College of Technology or similar candidates should have a very good overall performance with a record of Academic and Administrative competence as well as concrete evidence of contribution to the advancement of knowledge and service to the community.
- He must be a registered member of relevant professional body.
Term of Appointment
- Successful candidate shall be appointed for a term of Four (4) years in the first Instance and may be eligible for re-appointment for a second term of Four(4) years.
Salary
- Salary for the position is consolidated and the appointee shall be paid other benefits or as may be approved from time to time by Kastina state Government.
