We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Electro-mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
- Carry out Mechanical engineering work to good standard, safely and in timely manner.
- Respond to breakdowns quickly to minimise production downtime.
- Implement safe temporary repairs where production restrictions apply, inform Production Manager and arrange permanent repairs in production down time.
- Assist with Electrical work where necessary.
- Keep all tools in good serviceable condition and make sure they are fit for purpose.
- Carry out routine maintenance to good standards.
- Report any/all abnormal engineering occurrences to Production Manager.
- Comply with current health and safety requirements and company PPE policy.
- Any other duties required by Production Manager.
Qualifications and Experience
- B.Eng or equivalent in Electromechanical Engineering or related disciplines
- Minimum 5 years post qualification experience as an Electromechanical Engineering in a production or similar regulatory industry
- A good solid background with Mechanical Maintenance
- A good solid background with Electrical works
Key Competencies Required:
- High Attention to Detail Pro-active approach to Work
- High level of Numeracy Highly Computer Literate
- Planner & Organiser Bright.
