Nigeria Internet Registration Association (NIRA) is an independent not-for-profit, self regulatory and self governing organization founded on March 23, 2005 as a stakeholder-led organization, charged with the responsibility of managing the "ng" country code Top Level Domain (ccTLD) name space in the public interest of Nigeria and global internet community. The Association seeks energetic and self motivated individuals to fill the following vacant position below:
Job Title: Head, Corporate Services
Reporting to: The COO, the Head, Corporate Services
Responsibilities
- Working in liaison with any retained legal services provider to resolve all legal matters involving the Association;
- Ensuring that the Association complies to statutory requirements in line with NiRA's enabling laws;
- Coordinating human resource functions including recruitment and selection, compensation, promotion,
- man power planning, performance management and industrial relations;
- Providing guidance on sensitive staff matters, management issues and dispute resolution;
- Acting as Compliance Manager for the Association, ensuring that all complaints and grievances from members
- are appropriately dealt with in line with corporate polices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Law. MBA or LLM is an added advantage
- At least 5 years experience in general administration
- Preferable experience in ICT industry
- Membership of any relevant professional bodies such as NBA, CIPM etc
