Nigerian Export-Import Bank (NEXIM) - The attention of the Nigerian Export-Import Bank (NEXIM) has been drawn to some advertisements published by some online sources and social media platforms titled “NEXIM Bank recruitment 2019/2020.”
We have also been informed that some unscrupulous elements parading themselves as recruitment agents engaged by the Bank have been extorting monies from individuals seeking to be employed by NEXIM Bank
For the avoidance of doubt, the Management of NEXIM Bank dissociates itself from such falsehood and wishes to state categorically as follows:
- That NEXIM has not requested candidates to register online or via its website or any of its social media platforms for recruitment into the Bank.
- That NEXIM will advertise all vacant positions whenever it is ready to embark on a recruitment exercise and does not require any payment of money by applicants towards recruitment.
- That members of the public, particularly unsuspecting applicants, should be wary of fraudulent invitations for any job recruitment exercise via any print/electronic platform and that anyone who entertains such advertisements/publications and makes any financial commitments does so at his or her own risk.
- That anyone contacted for the purpose of the purported recruitment other than through advertisement duly placed or authorized by the Bank should not hesitate to report such invitations to relevant law enforcement agencies.
