Job Title: Head, Business Development
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- He / She will head our business development department and deliver our sales target. To excel in this role you should be an active listener, have a compelling sales personality, a hunger to chase and close new business and an excellent resource manager.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of a strategic business and financial plan.
- Research competitors and market trends to find new opportunities and remain competitive on service delivery and pricing.
- Work with management to explore various funding opportunities.
- Develop goals for the digital marketing team and ensure they are met.
- Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events to network and promote the organization.
- Responsible for business data and knowledge management.
Requirements
- OND/HND/ B.Sc in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field.
- MBA and/or startup experience is an advantage.
- Proven track record in meeting or surpassing sales target.
- Confidence, strong communication skills and IT savvy.
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
- Ability to excel with minimal guidance, be proactive and handle uncertainty.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Not older than 35years.
