Job Position: Chief Internal Auditor
Location: Kaduna
Responsibilities
- The Chief Internal Auditor is responsible to the Rector for the overall control of the Audit Section.
- He/She draws up guidelines in accordance with the Public Service Financial Rules and Regulations, and the compliance of such Rules to guard against fraud.
- He/She cross checks Bank Statements and confirms Bank reconciliation Statements prepared by the Bursar.
- He/She writes Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Internal Audit reports to the Rector. In addition, the Chief Internal Auditor provides professional leadership for the Audit personnel in the Institution.
Qualification
- A good honours degree or its equivalent in Accountancy or Finance from a recognised institution of higher learning plus registration with Institute of Chartered Accountancy of Nigeria (ICAN).
