A Financial Advisory company located in Abuja is currently recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:
Job Title: Accountant
Location: Abuja
Responsibilities
- Responsible for posting all transactions in the General Ledger to facilitate preparation of monthly management accounts
- To carry out daily functions of the Accounts department including Cash flow analysis, Payables, Receivables and Reconciliations
- To ensure that records of the company transactions are up to date.
- To process account payables including tax and pensions and ensure all the tax regulations, pensions and company financial requirements are met.
- To ensure records are maintained in accordance with accounting standards (*Fixed assets inclusive).
- To control expenditure within approved budgets, investigate variances and provide analysis/reports
- To prepare Trial Balance, financial statements, financial reports and reliable management information reports including profit and loss accounts on a monthly basis.
- To prepare and maintaining the company’s monthly payroll
Requirements
- Minimum experience of 3 years in a similar role
- B.Sc in Accounting
- ACA / ACCA
- Hands on experience with accounting software
- Advanced use of excel
- Must have good customer relation skills;
- Excellent communication skills
- Must have strong numeracy skills and a keen eye for detail.
