Job Title: Product Design Intern
Location: Lagos, Nigeria
About the Role
- We're looking for a talented, highly-motivated Product Design Intern to join the Apprenticeship Product Team in our Lagos office.
- As a Product Design Intern, you will work on multiple products and gain experience on the job within a 6-month period.
- You will gain valuable exposure working closely with Product Managers, Product Designers, Engineers and Product Stakeholders.
Roles and Responsibilities
You will work with the Product Designer to:
- Create high-quality UX/UI designs
- Work closely with engineers to ensure proper implementation of final designs
- Work cross-functionally with product managers and other stakeholders to arrive at the best possible solutions with your designs
- Contribute to the overall strategy and decision-making about product direction
- Create flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals for product features
- Conduct user research & usability testing.
Qualifications
As a Product Design Intern at Andela, you’d be a great fit if you have:
- An understanding of what makes Design functional in building products
- Some experience using any of these tools; Sketch, XD, Photoshop, Figma or InVision Studio
- Good communication skills & a proactive learner
- The ability to effectively engage with product end-users
- A design portfolio that you are proud to share with us.
