Job Title: Head, Specialized Logistics

Responsibilities
  • Manage Warehouse (Inbound, Inventory, Outbound, Aftersales) and Logistics (Sorting center and Last Mile) teams, create, monitor, and improve their KPIs.
  • Develop Dashboards to monitor performance and identify bottleneck areas of operational processes
  • Queue monitoring to identify anomalies and improve customer satisfaction
  • Overall management of sorting operations, route planning and distribution of customer orders to all hubs.
  • Project management on specialized logistics, space planning, and warehouse layout design to accommodate continuous expansion.
  • Ensure the timely scan at all the logs and update in systems for movement as transferable unit.
  • Oversee reporting on Incidents/Change/Problem tickets and SLA status.
  • Develop, implement, monitor and improve key performance metrics across the functional departments within the Warehouse and Logistics.
  • Manage the Warehouse and Logistics operations for Bulky goods
  • Setup and continuously improve Warehouse and Logistics operations processes
  • Drive best practices for inventory management, reporting, and handling.
  • Responsible to ensure appropriate control mechanisms are in place and achieve goals
  • Develop and manage staff to continuously improve skills and team performance.
Professional Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive related work with demonstrated experience  in a large fulfilment,  logistics, distribution, and operations management ,hands-on experience in supervision or management of a Warehouse facility.
  • 4+ years leading operational teams or acting in a managerial position.
  • Experience using data visualization tools like Qlik, Tableau, or Microsoft Power BI
  • Excellent analytical capabilities, ability to produce, interpret and draw conclusions from data.
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma and Kaizen methodologies would be highly advantageous.
  • Experience in Project management and time management skills – experience with end-to-end project management processes
  • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of Warehouse and Logistics Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Proven experience in material handling and critical thinking to detect on-time any unsafe maneuvers i.e. large items, heavy materials and fragile material, etc.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to manage and develop a team
