Job Description
- Housekeepers ensure rooms and other areas of the hotel are kept clean always.
Responsibilities
- Answer immediately to request from guests, as well as from other departments
- Clean and arrange guest rooms to hotel standards for guest arrivals
- Replace used amenities in guest rooms
- Perform check on all room appliances to ensure they are in good working condition
- Carry out floor care duties in hallway and guest rooms
- Provide immediate report on any safety hazards, injuries, maintenance problem, or accidents to the supervisor
- Ensure hotel standards are followed in welcoming and acknowledging all guests
- Maintain quality standards and expectations
Requirements
- Proven experience in a related role
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and co-workers
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods
- Physical stamina and mobility including ability to kneel, bend, lift, push and pull
- Knowledge of cleaning sensitive materials
- Minimum of Secondary School Leaving Certificate
- Applicants should reside around Iworoko, Ado-Ekiti.
