MTN Job Title: Manager, Supplier Quality Assurance

Job Description
- Lead, manage and develop MTNN supplier quality assurance requirements including update and management of the supplier profile questionnaire process
- Due Diligence, Supplier Audit and Supplier Performance Evaluation
- oDevelop the due diligence standards and verification process for suppliers
- Ensure verification of the shareholding and ownership of companies with CAC to ascertain beneficial ownership of supplier organisations
- Develop, monitor and control the process and standards for supplier audits
- Develop, monitor, control and update the supplier performance evaluation, monitoring and rating process
- Develop criteria for measuring suppliers using a rating system
- Develop criteria and conditions for the blacklisting and/or grey listing of suppliers
- Control and monitor the blacklisting and/or grey listing of suppliers
- Manage the MTNN Approved Supplier List to ensure continual improvement
- Develop, monitor and control the process and standards for product performance evaluation
Local Content
- Develop and manage a classification scheme for MTN’s product/service requirements
- Identify indigenous or local suppliers that have the potential to provide inputs that are mainly foreign-sourced
- Identify opportunities to develop business relationships with such suppliers
- Develop reporting format and metrics for the local content element of MTNN’s operations
Asset Disposal
- Coordinate the activities required to achieve disposal of unwanted MTN assets
- Identify enterprises that can provide the most economical value for assets to be disposed
- Provide periodic updates on asset disposal activities
- Data Management
- Define and control the data and document management process for the unit
Required Skills
- At least 8 years related work experience in a reputable organisation which includes:
- Providing quality assurance services to clients
- Supplier account management
- Contract management
- Supervisory/ managerial experience
Qualification
- A good first degree in a science, engineering or any numerate discipline A professional qualification in Quality Management, Accounting, or Purchasing & Supply
