Responsibilities
- The Sales Manager will have the responsibility for establishing a sustainable and profitable relationship with identified key customers in the " Key Accounts" segment..
- He will undertake commercial activities that ensure growth in turnover, profitability and market shares in his/her market segment.
- Ensures competitiveness in his/her market segment and customer satisfaction and develops activities that enhance loyalty.
- He will report to the Head of Commercial Department and the Director Marketing & Development.
- Monitor activities of the company in this market segment and have an in dept knowledge of competition
- Participate in the preparation and implementation of targeted action plans in this market segment. Specifically, define the business development plan for each big account
- Draw up code for visits in accordance with target priorities and customer feedback "
- Report on visits drawing up relevant conclusions from the analysis of these visits
- Identify threats from competitors, compile information and put together offers that adequately address gaps
- Analyze sales in your section and deduce the specific corrective actions to be taken
- Develop a clear vision of customer needs, expectations and unexpressed expectations. Be conversant with customer procedures Sales Development
- Detect opportunities that allow for the expansion of the group s offer
- Coordinate visits with the Development Manager when he/she needs technical support
- Draw up offers in line with commercial procedures as well as offer review procedures and when necessary with the help of the development manager
- Review offers in market segment
- Negotiate contracts with decision makers in accordance with commercial procedures and obtain customer commitment by ensuring a contract is signed
- Ensure the organization knows the specific needs of your market segment and poised to satisfy them Building Customer Loyalty
- Know and monitor customers in your portfolio. Master their organization and understand their processes and expectations
- Identify the channels of decision making and the factors that influence them
- Develop a partnership relationship that allows the exploration of new business opportunities
- Ensure that group s offer to the customer is comprehensive
- Organize annual joint offer reviews
- Analyze threats from competitors and identify priority actions for loyalty
- Develop mutual confidence at different levels of the decision making channels of the customer
- Assess customer satisfaction and find ways to improve upon it Profitability of existing Sales
- Determine and improve the profitability of each account according to products, contracts and sites
- Determine and improve the growth potential of each account
- Determine and improve upon the strength of contracts in portfolio (length of contracts, price updating process, partnership relationships) Cost Recovery
- Responsible for customer credit in market segment
- Be informed about developments in customer activities which might obstruct debt repayment
- Contribute to the administrative process of debt recovery in market segment.
Requirements
- BSc/HND in Business, Commerce or Marketing related courses
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position & capacity
- Must have good marketing skills and techniques
- Should posses excellent negotiation skills
- Should have a good knowledge of contract law
- Knowledge of market, products and services and organization is an added advantage

- Experience of contract management
- Must have good Leadership skills
- Honest and hardworking
- High proficiency in MS Office applications
- Excellent command in French will be a plus.
