Responsibilities
- Increasing the Customer base of the company in line with the objectives assigned
- Maintain an updated database of all assigned customers(i.e. customer information, value, growth trends, innovations)
- Regular visit to the clients to maintain full awareness of the infrastructure status and be proactive in resolving problems
- Should be able to understand the clients current structure to enable position the company s solutions accordingly
- Work closely with the commercial manager and business development managers to ensure continued revenue growth & customer retention
- Achieve & exceed designated revenue targets, build pipeline through constant engagement of customers and develop as well as strengthen the sales funnel
- Timely reading and response to all mails ensuring apt understanding and preventing repeated requests.
Requirements
- BSc in Sales or marketing
- At least 3 years Sales experience in the maritime sector
- Must be resident in Kano with good understanding of Kano metropolis (added advantage)
- Must possess the ability to draft business proposals and learn very fast
- Excellent Presentation & Communication Skills
- A thorough understanding of Sales Process and relationship management
- A pleasing personality with the ability and drive to have the objectives completed
- Should be Self-motivated and able to inspire others
- Experience of contract management
- Team oriented and outgoing
- Ability to work successfully both autonomously and as part of a team environment
- Excellent writing skills (judging from an on-the-spot practical essay writing)
- Excellent verbal and presentation skills is highly essential
- Computer literacy with ability to produce periodic reports using Microsoft Office - Ms Word, Excel, Powerpoint
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interpret marketplace needs and translate them into services
- Strong administrative abilities and exuding self-confidence
- Must be Fluent in English and Hausa language
