Key Responsibilities:
- Providing electrical field service activities including commissioning and supervising the erection of Wärtsilä installations
- Participating in electrical technical discussions and giving technical advice to customers and network companies
- Performing suppliers product and hand-over inspections and providing internal and external reports and as-built documentation
- Implementing Quality Control requirements for on-site repair and modification work in compliance with Engineering Standards
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Electrical Engineering degree with knowledge of gas/diesel engines electrical systems
- Minimum of 3 years cognate experience in operations, maintenance and troubleshooting of gas/diesel engines in Power and Gas operations
- Knowledge of relevant Engineering Codes and Standards
- Basic PLC and other Control Systems software knowledge
- Working knowledge of IEC Electrical and control system standards
- Understanding of Electrical protection, isolations and control system safety integration including installation and inspection procedures
- Practical knowledge of relevant software such as AutoCad, PLC, HMI and SCADA software
- Good sense of Safety and Security
